This is our motto and here is what it means:
Loving yourself is the key to healing at any age; however, during the elementary school years, we find that many girls struggle with belonging and finding close friends. Also, around age 9, we can often see girls’ self-esteem plummet, and we want help girls develop the skills needed to prevent that drop.
The middle and high school years are often the most challenging years for teens as they learn who they are as individuals. Focusing on developing skills that allow teens to be their authentic selves while connecting and thriving is a key focus at HTFG.
We help young women work to address issues relating to the onset of adulthood—in many instances, learning how to be comfortable with who you are while navigating college, a first job, or relationships can feel overwhelming.
