Kara began her journey as a therapist when she was a little girl trying to help her Miss Piggy doll recover from a break up with Stuffy the Giraffe. In 2008, she graduated with her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, changing her clientele from stuffed animals and dolls to adults, adolescents and families. Through her own journey of healing and walking with others as they heal, Kara knows the courage it takes to step into a room and begin a new relationship with a therapist and one’s Self. She honors the process of change and provides a safe, non-judgmental, caring space to explore the barriers that keep people from living the life they want. Kara has found horses, art, nature, dogs, groups, silence, laughter, imperfections, tears and relationships as some of the greatest healers…and is passionate to help others find their own healers.
