Lauren Saporito is the lead therapist at Houston Therapy for Girls and has extensive experience working with girls 7-25 and their families. Lauren received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Texas A&M University and then went on to complete her Master’s in Counseling at St. Edward’s University. She has ten years post-Master’s experience working with clients with four of those years spent working as a counselor at an all-girls private school. Having both attended and worked at all-girls schools, Lauren has experienced first-hand the pressures and challenges girls face developing a sense of self in today’s world. Lauren’s commitment to emphasizing and capitalizing on her clients’ strengths and past successes allows her clients to feel safe and supported facing their current challenges. During her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her dog and her horse and exploring new locales, whether they are in her native Houston or further from home.
